Connect your wallet

Connect a wallet that is a Safe signer on a preferred Safe to create a DAO

If the connected address is not associated with an existing Safe, proceed to "Create Safe", where a Safe can be created.

If your address is a signer on a Safe you will be able to create a DAO for that Safe by clicking on "Create a DAO from Gnosis Multisig"

Create your DAO

Once a Safe signer address is connected you can choose the Safe that you would like to use for your DAO. You will be prompted to fill in the following items:

• Name and Description for your DAO

• ENS domain for Snapshot

• Token Address of your DAO's token (if applicable)

• DAO Tokens decimal count (if applicable)

Add all other EVM Safes

At launch, Motherboard will Support Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism safes for inclusion in the DAO Management section. Safe signers will be able to aggregate all of their EVM safes under one dashboard and sign and execute transactions from a single dashboard. Additional safes can be added in the DAO Settings ("⚙️" ) section on the bottom left of the toolbar.

Set Role Parameters

Navigate to the DAO Settings section on the sidebar and under the "Roles" tab choose which roles would be automatically added to the External Chat conversations (coming soon) and which roles are able to see submitted Contributor Compensation requests.

Invite Contributors

Either direct DAO contributors to the Onboarding page or drop them an Invite link available on the Contributor Management Section under "Add Contributor".

Fill in your User Profile

Navigate to User settings by clicking on your wallet address in the top right of the page and follow the ⚙️ icon. Here you can fill in your Bio, Profile picture, and Twitter handle!
